The Ronnie Herndon Building is one of the first communities to open under the Alberta Alive vision. The building provides 21 apartment homes, ranging from one- to three-bedroom floor plans, for low-income households and families. It is a sister property to The Paul & Geneva Knauls Building, located two blocks away, which provides housing for Veterans.

Leasing Information
The Ronnie Herndon Building provides 21 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes to low-income individuals and households earning 30%-50% of the area median income (AMI) or below. To qualify, households must meet certain income requirements. Applicants can also bring their own Tenant Based Vouchers.

Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI)
All Alberta Alive communities will offer culturally-responsive resident programs and services tailored by SEI - Oregon's largest African American-led nonprofit multi-service organization. SEI will provide onsite events and programming including financial management, credit repair, and homeownership education, as well as connections to other resources and services.
